Asake mourns the death of a Nigerian lady who died as a result of injuries experienced after a stampede at his London concert last Thursday.

Asake mourns a Nigerian lady who dies after his concert in Brixton and he has expressed his concert in a detailed message he posted on social media after he receives news from the family in London.

Asake, has responded to the death of Rebecca Ikumelo, 33, a Nigerian woman who was injured in a stampede at his concert last Thursday at the Brixton O2 Academy.

She passed this morning as a result of her wounds and the stampede that happened at the concert.

Asake wrote in a social media post that he was grieved by her death. He sent his heartfelt condolences to her family and requested that everyone remember her family in their thoughts.

The news that Rebecca Ikumelo, who had been in a severe condition since last Thursday, has regrettably departed away, has crushed me. My deepest condolences go out to her family at this difficult time. Please remember to pray for her family. I’ve talked to them and will keep doing so.

I am inconsolable with grief and never could have imagined this occurring,” he stated.
